Stuart McAllister
About
Stuart McAllister serves as Director of Leadership Development and Deployment at Restoration Presbyterian Church in Dacula, GA, though he describes his deepest calling as being an ambassador for Christ. He speaks on biblical discipleship, cultural formation, Christian mission, and questions of meaning, identity, hope, and the good life. His teaching explores the hidden influences that shape modern life, showing how cultural assumptions can distort the gospel and leave the human heart restless.
Born in Scotland, Stuart came to faith as a young adult and was quickly drawn into mission work. He served with Operation Mobilisation, bringing Bibles and Christian literature into the Eastern Bloc, and later helped develop the evangelistic outreach “Love Europe,” and served as General Secretary of the European Evangelical Alliance from 1992 to 1998. He then spent more than two decades with an international apologetics ministry, and worked with Ken Boa with a focus on discipleship.
He and his wife, Mary, have been married for over 40 years and have two children and two grandchildren. His lifelong interests in history, theology, spirituality, biographies, film, classical music, and 70s rock all inform his warm, reflective approach to faith and public witness.
